We got granite - and a new sink - and a new faucet. They are lovely. Being without countertops, a sink, and the dishwasher for multiple days was not-so-lovely - but it was worth it.
We got granite counter tops a few years ago, and I love them! I'm sure you'll enjoy them....and your stainless sink. I don't know who invented the porcelain sink, but I don't miss having one of those, either! :)
Ooooh, so prettty!!! Who did the countertops? We were all signed up and had them come out and do templates, but the company decided we couldn't keep our backsplash (which ironically, is exactly the same as yours. How did THAT work?) They were supposed to install tomorrow, actually, but I decided with the additional work on the backsplash it would take 4-5 days instead of a one day install - not worth it due to the extra cost plus time with a baby due "any minute".
